We all have one. It’s that little circle that surrounds us.
We like to stay in it as much as possible because we feel safe and secure. However, have you asked yourself recently – how comfortable is my comfort zone?
If a phobia of driving on the motorway is preventing you from seeing friends and family, your comfort zone is too small.
If you can’t get on a plane to enjoy a holiday, your comfort zone is limiting your happiness.
If anxiety induced agoraphobia is keeping you locked in your house, your comfort zone is unrealistic and not comfortable at all.
Part of overcoming anxiety requires you to look at your comfort zone, and in a lot of circumstances, expand, reshape, and re-evaluate it.
You don’t need to make an almighty leap into the unknown. Take it step-by-step and work your way up to where you want to be. Before you know it your world will become a bigger, happier place – without the limitations and parameters of a comfort zone.
ARE YOU DEALING WITH ANXIETY?
